Film Music Focus, Ep. 9 - Interview: Mike Knobloch (Part 2)

This is the second part from the Mike Knobloch multi-part interview series on #FilmMusicFocus! In this episode, Mike gives us a fascinating look into the decisions that go into choosing original songs vs. film music alone. Knobloch also talks about working with Pharrell Williams (Despicable Me 2), and other artists for 50 Shades of Grey, in addition to working with James Horner and James Cameron on Titanic. You do not want to miss this one. 🚢 🙌🏼

Mike Knobloch is the President of Global Film Music and Publishing at Universal Pictures. At Universal, Knobloch has overseen the music for some of the studio’s most successful franchises including Fast & Furious, Pitch Perfect, and Fifty Shades of Grey.
